Recreational marijuana has been legal this year across Canada since October 17. This heightens the need for strong workplace policies on impairment on the job and it is recommended that companies have an impairment policy in place.

The CCOHS (Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety) has a free downloadable white paper called Workplace Strategies: Risks of Impairment from Cannabis, which also has sample Policy templates.
