Our Annual General Meeting and Conference is open to everyone and will provide educational and networking value to all in the transportation industry, whether private, for-hire, dedicated, or a supplier of a product or service to the transportation industry. PMTC’s 2027 Conference will take place at the Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, ON, on May 18th & 19th, 2027.

Running over two full days, the Conference features a program of relevant, leading-edge learning presented by respected industry leaders on a range of topics. This event also offers many networking opportunities to help attendees make valuable connections, no matter their role in the industry.

PMTC is a national, non-profit, membership-based trucking association that was founded in 1977.

Our last in-person event in 2026 had 56 exhibitors on-site and over 280 people registered. We fully expect numbers to increase in 2027.

Who Attends?

The learning program is designed to provide content that is useful and relevant to anyone in the transportation industry, and networking events bring together professionals from a range of roles and seniorities across Canada. Attendees include key decision-makers at Canada’s leading private and dedicated fleets, as well as leaders from for-hire fleets and many other industry sectors, including insurance, equipment manufacturers, training providers, legal representatives, parts, telematics providers, communications, equipment tracking, and IoT, among many others.

Apply to Speak at PMTC’s 2027 Conference

The PMTC is now accepting proposals from prospective speakers for its conference. Given the quality and popularity of our conference in recent years, the number of requests to speak has increased significantly. To be fair to all and to ensure we maintain the quality and integrity of our educational seminars, we have decided this is the best way to identify speakers who can provide education on the topics we are seeking. We will be accepting proposals until December 14, 2026, at midnight Eastern Time. Successful proposals will be non-commercial,

educational and focused on current industry trends (please note that we do not pay professional speakers at our events). Based on a survey of past attendees and PMTC members, we have selected some suggested topics. However, please feel free to submit a topic of your own that you feel is relevant to today’s industry. Regardless of your submission, you must be able to present as an expert on your chosen topic to be considered for our 2027 Conference, and your presentation MUST BE NON-COMMERCIAL. Submissions selected to present will be notified no later than January 31, 2027.
