It is with profound sadness that we inform readers of Private Motor Carrier as well as those throughout the trucking industry of the sudden, heart-related passing of our magazine’s Managing Editor Terry Ross on Friday, October 25.


A long-time employee of magazine publisher Craig Kelman & Associates Ltd., Terry has been instrumental in working closely with the PMTC and those involved with our organization to build Private Motor Carrier into one of the finest publications of its kind throughout the trucking industry. As a trusted advisor to our team, Terry’s understanding of our key issues and his ability to gather and prepare content that met our communication objectives has been invaluable. We will truly miss his insight, professionalism and genuine passion for his craft, as well as his humility, humour and character. He was a kind and caring man who we enjoyed working with and getting to know.
Survived by his wife Debbie and stepson Miles, Terry was predeceased by his stepdaughter Lisa.
