Milton, ON: The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC), is pleased to announce TruckRight as the sponsor of “The PMTC’s Hall of Fame for Professional Drivers”.
“The Hall of Fame Awards were introduced during the PMTC’s 25th anniversary conference in 2002. Each year the PMTC inducts up to 4 drivers who meet the strict criteria that is required to be honoured with a hall of fame induction. These drivers are the best of the best, true professionals, and the backbone of industry”, stated PMTC President Mike Millian. “It is a privilege to be able to honour these drivers each year at our conference and give these drivers the recognition they deserve. It is because of the great support of TruckRight, that we are able to continue to provide these drivers the celebration of a great career that they deserve. We are thrilled with TruckRight’s dedication to support and honour excellence”.

Drivers are honoured each year at the Hall of Fame Luncheon during the PMTC’s Annual Conference, this year being held June 17th to 19th at Niagara Fall’s Ontario. Award entries open on February 1st, and this year the induction ceremony will occur on June 18th. The Hall of Fame Resides on the PMTC’s website, and all past winners are recognized here. 2025 will mark the 24th year in which drivers have been recognized for their achievements. Established in 1977, the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) is the only Canadian association dedicated to the interests of private fleet operators. The PMTC provides forums for fleet operators and industry stakeholders to exchange views and resolve issues together and is at the forefront in representing your views to government, protecting your rights, and promoting your interests.

PMTC YLG ANNOUNCES INCOMING BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada Young Leaders Group is announcing its incoming Board of Directors for the 2024-2026 term. The New Boards term runs from July 1st of 2024 through to June 30th of 2026. The Board was announced at the PMTC’s annual general meeting in Niagara Fall’s on June 18th.

PMTC and 3M Canada Announce Recipients of
2024 Vehicle Graphics Design Awards
The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) announced the award winners of its 2024 Vehicle Graphics Design competition, co-sponsored by 3M Canada. This is the 39th year of the most colourful awards in the trucking community, and presentations were made during the PMTC’s Awards Breakfast as part of its Conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario on June 20th, 2024.
Awards were presented in seven categories: Tractor Trailer; Straight Truck; Special Events/Promotion; Light Duty Commercial Truck; Human Interest and Identity Fleet Graphics. Full details and images of winning entries are below.
“The PMTC membership, the Canadian trucking community at large, and the vehicle graphics industry are extremely grateful to 3M Canada for their ongoing support of this competition,” said PMTC President Mike Millian. “This national event brings entries from across the country, with over 130 entries this year. This is a clear indication of how much pride companies take in promoting their products and services through engaging vehicle graphics. We congratulate all the award winners and thank all those that participated.”
