We are an industry leader in the adoption of alternative fuel and sustainable fleet practices. We tested our first hybrid electric vehicles in 2005 and continue to invest in new transportation solutions and technologies to respond to urban growth in an efficient and sustainable manner. Purolator has also developed urban distribution centres to reduce emissions and deployed electric trucks and final-mile delivery innovations, such as e-bikes, low-speed electric vehicles and all-electric step vans. We will achieve our sustainability goals by electrifying 60 per cent of our last-mile delivery vehicles; continuing to install energy-efficient equipment in our facilities and designing new buildings to meet green standards; and by increasing the use of biofuels and using data analytics to optimize delivery routes.
