The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada is announcing its incoming Board of Directors for the 2025/2026 term. The New Boards term runs from July 1^st of 2025 through to June 30^th of 2026. The New Boards term runs from July 1^st of 2025 through to June 30^th of 2026. The new Board was voted on at the councils AGM on Juen 17^th and announced at the conclusion of the Annual Conference on June 19th, in Niagara Fall’s Ontario.

The Executive of the PMTC Board serve a 2-year term, while the remainder of the board serves a 1-year term. This is the 2^nd year of the term for the Executive, so they were acclaimed, while the remainder of the board stood for election.

With 30 people expressing interest, 5 extremely dedicated and qualified individuals were unable to join our board this year once votes were completed. The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada is the only national association dedicated to the interests of private fleet operators.  The Council works with governments on issues affecting private carriers and delivers information to its members through an extensive network of communications material, including educational seminars, newsletters, magazines, and electronic bulletins.  PMTC’s goals are to promote the safe and economic use of private trucking, to promote regulations that are beneficial to fleet operators, and to be a primary source of information for members.
