His clients have included some of the world’s most dynamic companies, such as s Microsoft, PepsiCo, LinkedIn, Deloitte, Salesforce, and TikTok.

These leading organizations trust Khan to inspire modern leadership, unleash purposeful productivity, transcend burnout culture, and embrace constant change.

“Over the years of offering a first-class education and networking event for our industry, we have strived to bring participants an experience that will bring value to them personally and professionally. This year will be no different – we have put together an extraordinary lineup of speakers, panelists, and moderators who their peers and the industry view as ‘best-in-class’” commented Jamie Phillips, Vice-President of Business Development for TransRep Inc.

The National Recruiting and Retention Symposium starts with cocktails and networking on May 1, 2024 at 5:00 pm. During the cocktail party, registrants will learn about the power of networking and how to build relationships with industry veteran Glenn Caldwell, Vice-President of Corporate Development at Healthy Trucker/NAL Insurance. Glenn has spent a lifetime in the trucking industry and is known by many as a great networker.

Afterward, you can spend time with friends and industry colleagues at one of the many eateries and pubs within walking distance of the conference centre.

Day two will be a full day of opportunities to learn about best practices and new and innovative ways to recruit and retain people into the industry.

Participants include leaders from the Truckload Carrier Association (TCA), the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA), and the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) as they discuss what is happening in the industry and share their views on our workforce, recruitment, retention, and human resources.

Company representatives from Contrans, Armour, CPC Logistics, Home Hardware, Canadian Blood Services, Bison, and Linde will talk about some of the best practices, tools, and techniques that they’ve implemented.

The event is highlighted by the National Recruiter of the Year presentation sponsored by Tenstreet.

Phillips added, “This symposium would not be possible without the commitment of many sponsors who make this event happen. We are so grateful and appreciative of their involvement.”
