UPDATED INFO TO NOV 7TH ELD BULLETIN
 
Good afternoon PMTC Members. It seems what Newfoundland reported at the CCMTA meetings in Ottawa on November 3rd was not accurate. See update we received today from Newfoundland with different information for Provincially regulated carriers. We are providing this update to ensure our members and contacts have the most up to date and accurate information.
 
K. Gail Boland, Assistant Deputy Minister Digital Government and Services Branch has advised as of November 18, 2022 as below: 

"We have not yet communicated when provincially regulated carriers (those that travel within the Province only) will be required to install and use ELDs. When this decision is made, sufficient notice will be provided so that all provinical carriers have the time needed to purchase, install and train their drivers on the use of ELDs."
